Moyie Mud Bogs

Nathan and I are planning a trip to the Moyie Mud Bogs on Mother's Day Weekend, May 7-9. Has anyone ever been before? I can't find a website with any info, other than write-ups and videos. The only bit of info I can find is...

Go to Moyie, once there you'll find the place?
Usually 5-7K people
No glass
No Dogs
Last year was $20 at the gate, you got rules, regs, and wristbands
Camping allowed on property and adjoining state land?

If anyone has better directions or more info, I would appreciate it. We're hoping to take the RV and tow the Scout I think.

Surprisingly little info for such a huge event.

One of the Mags did an article, and called it the best "show" you never heard of. Whatever it is, that's a nice way to spend mothers day.

Mountain Explorer is on here. Yup, $20 buck at the door and that get's you in for the weekend.

Take 95 to Threemile (north of Bonners ferry), turn right to Moyie. There's a big sign oin the left across from the gas station as you drop down the hill. Turn left there. A mile or so up the dirt road, and you are there. I'm not going this spring, but plan to go back after a three year absence this fall.

Well, guess we're off tomorrow to hang out with all the drunk kids. Wish us luck.

Re: Moyie Mud Bogs

I'm heading up tomorrow. Sounds like space is limited right now.

Yeah Cory, Mike Reynolds has brought back the Devils Ridge Mud Races, off of Eloika Lake Rd. A little different than a mud bog, same thing as what they are running at Big Al's. He held them for a few years until his son flipped his bronco and was paralyzed from the waist down.
