Hi Nathan

Is the rear axle offset to the passengerside?

Not if it is a Scout II axle like listed. That would be a Scout 80 axle you are looking for.

You might just put an ad up in the wanted section instead of hijacking this guys thread. Your location would also help if someone close to you has one.

Did they make offset 44's? Or were the offset's all 27's?

Re: Scout II pair of Dana 44 axles for sale.

Scouts of any vintage never had an offset Dana 44. Offset rears were 27's. Even 800 series had 2 piece rear centered Dana 44's. All scout II's had centered 44 rears.

Re: Scout II pair of Dana 44 axles for sale.

Yes, many folks have used these axles to do a spring over conversion. Figure a 4X6 pallet weighing 500 pounds (approx) I will crate them and deliver to local trucking company. I've had good service with R and L carriers. You should be able to look on their website to get and estimate to ship to Spokane. It will be a little bit cheaper if you pick up the pallet at their terminal. Pallet will come with a bill of Laden, you pay shipping upon pick-up.

Thanks

Nathan
