(Also posted on Binder Planet FYI - more pics there since this forum has a limit)

I spent 3+ years working on every mechanical aspect of this vehicle. There is not a system on here that has not been replaced and/or rebuilt, and I spared no time or expense trying to do it right. All that's really left is the body. I did minor body fixes, so it's totally sound, but not yet pretty. The doors and tailgate are off in the pics, but I have them. I actually spent a bit of effort getting the windows and stuff to work properly. I no longer have the top.

I have less than 100 miles on the tires and engine rebuild. It's primarily been a project, but it drives well.

    Here's the laundry list:

    1965 Scout 80
    152 ci 4-cylinder motor
    4-wheel drive
    3-speed T90 transmission
    Dana 18 transfer case

    Fixes and upgrades
    Rebuilt motor
Rebuilt transmission and transfer case with JB conversions parts
    Professionally rebuilt carburetor
Rebuilt axle outers inlcuding all new drums, rebuilt knuckles, all new brake components
    New Warn premium hubs
Upgraded rear axle to Dana 44 from Scout 800
New Mr. Scout lift springs and IH Only North heavy duty shackles
New 32” BFG KM2 mud terrain tires
    New black steel wheels
    Professionally rebuilt steering box
    Rebuilt drag link
    Rebuilt steering column
    Professionally rebuilt distributor
Converted points to Pertronix electronic ignition
    Added MSD6-offroad ignition
    New Tom Woods rear driveshaft
    Completely rewired engine, gauges, lights
    New MSD plug wires
    All new Autometer gauges
New plastic gas tanks, sending units, fillers, caps
New clutch master and slave cylinders and hose
New brake master cylinder and hoses
    New body mounts
    New windshield and moulding
New stainless steel parking brake cable
    New shocks
    H4 headlight upgrade
    Added spin on oil filter
    New battery
    New exhaust system
Added Lokar gas pedal to replace factory pushrod
    New alternator
    K&N air filter and breather
New motor, trans and tcase mounts
    Added coolant overflow system
    New tie rod
New water pump and fuel pump
    Details too numerous to list

    Stuff to do still
    Body work
    Some minor fluid seepage
One of the U-bolt plates in the front is tweaked and should be replaced since it binds the U-bolt

Note the heater core has been removed. I still have it and it works, though the electrical is mounted there at the moment. I have tons of spare parts and original parts I removed that I will include in the sale.

Asking $5750. I have more pics, so let me know what you want to see. Located in Tucson, AZ.

Thanks. Yeah, I don't even want to know. The little things like shift boots and turn signal lenses just keep adding up. Of course the engine machining, gauges, tires, etc. are the big ticket things.

Mastiff...I just wanted to personally thank you for all the postings you have done on this forum...it has been such a treasure chest of info for some of us newbies<G>. My 1965 Scout 80 is almost back together after replacing seals and gaskets on almost everything over the past couple years...hopefully, that means I'll have it again running soon. This last time I went all out and replaced the front and rear main engine seals, rebuilt tranny and TC. Almost there...Thanks again!
