  • Valve Cover Studs?

I was thumbing through the Summit catalog and I saw set up that replaces the valve cover bolts with threaded studs. A tall winged, or "T", nut then fits on top to hold the valve cover down.

Since my IH engine has no real placement guides for installing the valve cover, I thought the studs might work out well if I could find the right size and thread count.

As anyone tried this route with their IH?

Now if can just justify to Mrs. SandRacer how taking the valve covers to the chrome shop will make the Scout run better......
