What kind of diagnostics do you have?
    Code reader?
    ALDL?

You have to be able to get the fault codes out of the computer to know what is going wrong.

    What is this on.
    is it a transplant.
What all parts did you use?
    VSS, EGR, Knock?

You need to provide more data to work with.
Or I can just throw something out there that is totally wrong..like
no VSS will cause it to stumble when you come to a stop.
the egr is bad causing it to go lean when it worms up.

All this could be right or it could be BS depending on the sensor data.

Let us know what you have.

Have you put a code reader on it yet.
They are cheap at the parts store.
Actually autozone will put one on your truck right there in the parking lot and tell you what codes it is popping.
        All for free.
Then they will tell you what parts you need.

I bought one of the Actron Code Readers for like $15 at Shucks or check e-Bay...

I haven't had a chance to use it on the Scout yet, but soon!

I use it on my parts runner a 1993 Chevy 9C1 retired police car.
