When I find a donor chevy in the junkyard to get the TBI parts off of, what all do I need to get?

    Throttle body
    wiring harness
    ECM
    MAP sensor
    TPS
    IAC
    Coolant temp sensor
    O2 sensor

Anything else? Fuel pump relay? Ignition module?

I'm just starting to look into building my own EFI for my '73 Scout II with a 345 and I'm trying to get an idea of what parts I need.

    Everything

Try to pull it yourself. You will need everything you mentioned plus:
wiring harness with the ALDL plug. it won't have to be all in one. you can cut it and splice it back together. You will need to shorten it anyways.
    fuel pump relay.
    ignition module.
    knock sensor.
fuel line fittings (found out the holley TBI fitting screw right in and are barbed fittings for rubber hose!!!)

I try to get everything that is attatched to the eng harness. The large power wires with fuse links come in handy for your pwr relays.

late 70-early 80 ford V-8 duraspark dist or at least the reluctor and base plate assy.

try to get the system from a truck. if you cant then at least get a ECM(1227747) from a truck V-8 in place of the car (1228746) ECM
most yards will let you swap.
