Aren't the other advantages longer pump life, and lower pump replacement cost?

I was thinking about thia again and you know you have the fuel pump as well! It's in the tank! I started to do this conversion on mine but was running out of time and ran an external pump.
But with a little time and probably tig welding you could have an intank pump as well.
But then the only advantage would be no noise from the external pump.
I've grown to live with it.

Looks like you got a good one. Van wiring harness's are a little long with the ECM under the seat but thats an easy cure.

    donor list

This donor list provided by this web site will tell all, well almost, seems from the quick viewing I did that it all should work for you. The only other thing you will have to pick up is the electric fuel pump.

    Hope this helps

    started a topic good thing?

    good thing?

hello all, i just started doing some reading on this board yesterday and was wondering if i had a good possible FI parts truck.

i had been thinking about putting FI on my 77 scout 345 for awhile now, but now i have just aquired a free 1991 chevy van with a 350 and FI.

will this be a good truck to rob the FI from to put on my scout?
how well with the stock chevy computer work on the 345?
Working...
