  • Front axle cone bushing

I also need to repair the front axle on my '67 scout 800. I am not exactly sure of the name of the part though, I believe they are king pin bushings. They are the little cone bushings on top of the steering knuckle with the small square cap on top of them. It appears the king pin bushings are worn and need replacing. I have not been able to find the bushings for sale anywhere, the only thing I can find are king pin bearings( actual bearings not bronze bushings). Are these a direct replacement for the bushings? If not where can I find the right bushings? Also what would the adjustment procedure be if I installed bearings instead of bushings?
    Thanks, Andy
